SKILLED AT COMPLEX CASES (front implant/veneers) FRIENDLY, GO THE EXTRA MILE
I highly recommend Adelaide Dental! I had a cycling accident requiring veneers, root canals, an implant and other complex procedures for my front teeth. I had concerns about my original dentist so decided to swap midway. I am so glad I did. If you have ANY concerns about your dentist, trust your gut and see these guys. My smile looks BETTER than before I had my accident! The main dentist- George, along with Bridie, Jess, Melissa and the rest of the team from the get go were: - Friendly and warm- like a family! If you are ever nervous about seeing a dentist, they put you at ease and work with your understanding/ concerns (I was so at ease I almost fell asleep during some procedures) . I enjoyed our chats and music!
- Explain the full range of options and let you choose what is right for you. I found they offered a greater range, and more advanced dental procedures. George will also recommend and get you to consider what will suit you for the long term.
- Walk you through what they are doing and why, so you are never left in the dark. The amount of time they invest shows this.
- Empower you to take care of your own teeth to prevent things from occuring.
- Go the extra mile- Jess rang me to see how I was doing after bigger procedures/ steps. If you are specifically looking for veneers/ implants... I am SO happy with my outcome! Why would I recommend them?
- they were INCREDIBLY thorough. They took pictures of my teeth in every light/ different angles (my prior dentist didn't take 1) during the preparation phase. They used these to discuss exactly what was happening and my options.
- The dental technician they collaborate with, Sacsha Zamembra at Adelaide Dental Art, was impeccable at creating implant crowns and veneers. Both George and Sascha considered the texture, shape and proportions, colour and things I haven't even considered like irregularities, translucency, and how wide your smile is.
- They minimize the amount of time you need to spend with a "gap", but don't rush anything.
- They encourage you to revisit Sascha or raise concerns if you aren't sure. For example, at my gut level, I thought the shade was too bright the first try-in. George whipped me off to see Sascha, who was able to fix the shade perfectly within half an hour. Basically, if you aren't sure, can't hurt to ask/ try again! George let's you know this at the start.
- As mentioned, my teeth look better than before my accident! My original crown by my old dentist did not match my smile at all (color, shape and position)- now you couldn't tell the difference. I wish someone had recommended these guys earlier, would have saved me a lot of angst and money. I will actually miss the team. I am so grateful. If you want to speak to me before seeing them, please do get in touch (inbox me or ask Adelaide Dental). Thank you George, Bridie, Jess, Melissa and the rest of the team for making me feel so safe and secure at the end of this long cycling accident saga. I feel very lucky and happy with my beautiful smile. I'll see you for the next regular check up! Hannah
