My implant process started back in 2015.i made my consultant appointment and yes the liaison/HR person was very informative. But, when I ask the cost ~#×!!!?? WHAT... and said needed all before surgery could start. I told them I'd have to let them know, I'm saying how much let's say it had 5 digits.. I new I had to do something I was in so much pain. It took a wk and my life savings. After that it's were it started down hill. I understood that they hadn't been open long and they were still working the process and procedures. After all my xrays and alot of patients the 1st Dr over prostheses came in and looked then told dental assistant to take mouth molds upper and lower. She did, and he made her redo them 3 times ugh. I was there 6 hrs. They said, will make an appointment now to meet with surgeon, I was like what!! I told them before we started I would have a 80 mile round trip so I needed to make trip count. They said, I'm sorry we can't schedule both on same day. So I had to come back the next week. The Dr that did the surgery was awesome, wonderful bedside manner, he explained what would happen, what to expect generally wonderful.
Surgery, went great had all pulled and 4 implants on bottom. The same day Mr prostheses attempted to attach my new teeth ...ouch. it was a very long day. The anesthesiologist called twice, the surgeon 3 times. He told me that he always places enough numbing to help withe pain the first 3 days and it did. When I when in for for check up 2 of 4 of implants my body rejected. I had same surgeon do 1st 2 surgeries and all of the sudden he was gone, and that scared me. Long story short what should have been 6 mths turned into 10 surgeries and 6 years and dealing with Mr prostheses and horrible bedside manner. He didn't care if they hurt you or you were in pain, he didn't care all he cared about was dollars...
It did get better the last 3 surgeries. Mr. Prostheses left:) the very nice surgeon now was the new boss awesome bed side manner worked miracles, I now been 2 years no pain and and new smile. I would like to say the staff and dental assistants through the whole thing were awesome too, they always had the tissues for tears, kind voice and caring heart. If it was for the little ones I'd have quit and given up. I still think it was alittle pricey but, I can't get it back. Hope those reading this have better luck.
