I’ve been on and off with getting teeth work done due to my insurance not being active yet, I’ve gone back and forth with wanting and not wanting to pull my teeth. “2 rear teeth”. But the doctor and work personnel have been patient and respectful. Highly recommend. Also very clean!

Terrible. My son had an appointment at 6:30 PM. We waited for over 30 minutes, they then take us back and say their x-rays machine didn’t work so they decided they want to refer me to another dentist. The young dental assistant was really rude as well. Would not recommend going there.

Dr. Staker is a great professional and a great dentist (and a great guy). Came in with molar number 30 broken, and in pain for the past few months, and after being cut off by both Presbyterian and Medicaid years prior, I couldn't really afford dental services, but he went straight to work on doing a lot of root canals and crowns, and most of them which look like broken teeth never happened. I've had a lot of bad experiences with dentists, but this was among my most pleasant! I highly recommend Comfort Dental on Alameda. Dr. Stakwr was friendly, funny, and thorough. I also appreciate the wide span of hours and that they're open on Saturdays. And unlike most other dentists you visit, they can actually see you and get you in, even without an appointment. I had to change my review from a 5 star. Dr Pacheco is great but the past few times the communication has been horrible with the front desk. I've had Prior auths that have been accepted but never got phone calls to schedule the appt until I had to call. By that time I had no insurance so it wasted both of our time. This last time I was asked to come in earlier so I had to leave work early for me get there and be told my insurance wouldn't cover the visit, again wasting both of our time and losing money.
