I take my 9 year old daughter here for orthodontics we have had a good experience until now. Today I drive 45 mins to her appointment, sign in and then get called back for a assistant to ask if the front said it was okay for me to come back with my 9 year old daughter that typically now with the "covid" they are not allowing parents back with a child!! I started going here a year ago and my son had to go in to get two filing done and once it was done they said he had four filing and they wanted me to pay the full amount that day $500 instead of the $202 they had quoted me!!!! Very unhappy with the group and thinking about moving my family to one who doesn’t do this to families!
A certain hygienist there was extremely rough prepping my tooth for my temporary crown, when I went back to have it taken off and my permanent put on she was so rough taking the temporary off she broke off my entire tooth so they glued it back it back in and of course it didn’t stay so now I’m stuck either having to get an implant or a bridge which will cost an arm and a leg. So I highly recommend not using friendly dental if you want to keep all your teeth.
These people are awful! The west Gastonia location needs people that actually care about you and your teeth! Never have I met such rude people! ESPECIALLY the dentist herself. Doesn’t even take the time to talk to you. Needless to say I found another dentist that actually took pride in there job! Good luck friendly dentist, next time don’t name your company “friendly dentist” when none of your staff have anything friendly about them!!! The front desk staff were great, and lived up to the name. However, the hygienist was rough and when I complained, rushed through my service, she was not personable at all. My mouth was sore for the rest of the day. Also the dental support staff did not live up to the name. Will not return . The dentist was nice. My cleaning experience was the worst.
I will never go back here again!i had to get a tooth took out and the dentist did not numb my mouth all the way.it took her almost an hour to get my tooth out.i laid there and screamed and cried in pain because I felt every bit of it.i tried to tell her that I felt it and her response was,it’s ok you will be fine!she also told me I needed to hush and stop screaming.how can anyone lay there and stay quiet when they can feel every single thing!something will be done about this!im going to keep going higher over their heads unt... read more
Wanted 1 tooth pulled, But doctor wanted to pull 3 yes I need them pulled but when I say I only want 1 pulled that's what I mean.. Appointment was at 10 am Saturday morning and the doctor decided he couldn't just pull one but wanted to pull 3 teeth.. Way over 800.00 plus bull crap of a dentist, wanted to tap on them knowing they are bad, maybe he needs better glasses where he can see.. Worst dentist experience ever... Made an appt for 4pm and was made to wait till after 5pm to get a simple cleaning, I'd had recent x-rays but was made to take more because I assume that's how they burn up a good portion of your dental insurance allowance for the year, once I finally got in the chair the "hygienist" poked and prodded my gums harshly and then tried to up sale me the "full plate cleaning" or whatever, when I asked for my regular cleaning I was told that "it won't do any good" I was then rushed out the door beca... read more
