I can honestly say that Hand and Ortho is the best physical therapy experience I have ever had. The receptionists were always friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and well organized. Kim and Sierra are the best. They were always concerned about me and what I needed from a blanket to keep me warm or the exact exercises I needed to help me the most backing away from ones that caused extra pain. Dr. Matt Gubler and his team at Hand and Orthopedic Physical Therapy Specialists have done wonders for me. Their therapy helped my sore hip feel better. Then they worked on my left arm which is healing from a broken humerus. Dr. Gubler also is helping to heal my chronic migraine headaches with a technique called "dry needling." Jay and Boyd were amazing with my recovery process. I had foot and ankle surgery and Jay was able to work his magic during my visits to PT and got me up and walking again. The staff at Hand and Orthopedic are all very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them for any PT that you may need.
I injured my shoulder the beginning of September. I went from being able to do 20+ pull ups to only 1 and it hurt A LOT. After about a month of icing/heating/stretching/ibuprofen and even a steroid shot I saw no improvements so I reached out to Hand & Ortho. I started to work with Justin Carrier and at first we had trouble pinpointing where the injury was. Ryan Fuhriman and his team are amazing! I have been treated by them 4 different times for 4 different issues. Each time I have come away able to resume my regular exercise routine. I always joke that I hope to see them again in a year or two, but not really. Truthfully, there is no one else I would trust my almost 60 body with than Ryan and his team! They are like family to me!!! I tell everyone who is having issues with a body part that Ryan is the one to see.
If you want a well-trained, experienced physical therapist who treats the whole person and not just your injury, you should see Kimberley Mazzella. I have seen Kim for three different sports injuries because she really knows what treatments will help you heal and get you back to the activities you love.
