Great experience from the first to final consultation. Dr Parkinson was supportive, understanding, and reassuring, and was convicted in his treatment recommendations. This gave me a lot of confidence to move forward with surgery. The team are friendly, helpful, and great to deal with. Dr. Richard Parkinson. Its not just a name, its a blessing. I would say, he is not only one of the best Surgerons in Sydney, but also in Australia. I was diagnosed L5 forminal stenosis with Disc bulge & Bone spour. I refered random surgeons and been asked that I will be operated Spinal Fusion which I do not want at my earlys. Dr Parkinson reviewed my case with urgency and provided a clear outline of the options, including the preferred and urgent need for surgery. I was booked in his next available time and operated on successfully. I have found Dr Parkinson and his consulting staff extremely approachable. Pain relief was immediate. Recovery has been very strong. I would thoroughly recommend Dr Parkinson.
Dr Parkinson and his staff have been wonderful. Having injured my back some 4 years ago Dr Parkinson has been so careful in investigating what was really wrong and not rushing into surgery as the first option. After testing all other avenues he booked me in very quickly to perform the operation and was so kind and considerate before and after the operation. THE BEST DOCTOR HANDS DOWN. TAKE IT FROM A PERSON WITH A 10 YEAR BACK PROBLEM: I have been with Dr Parkinson now for almost 8 years. I had a disc problem around 10 years ago, where I was referred to a random local Neurosurgeon who was nothing but a "surgeon". The first time I saw him, his advice was "surgery".
