5 weeks post op of my total hip replacement and feeling great about my recovery and in choosing Dr. Davis. Had been putting my THR off for years but this ski season the pain was unbearable. Not only was the knee surgery Dr. Davis performed done expertly, but his caring manner put me entirely at ease. He followed up in the hospital several times, and then again while I was recuperating at home and in further office visits.

May 5, 2021 Hip replacement surgery by Dr. G. Davis has very nicely cured chronic lameness. In the 35 days of recovery I am feeling well and strong. I was treated well. I would recommend Dr. Davis to anyone with a similar joint problem.
Dr Davis is exceptional he does the job right. My hip was severely arthritic, splayed out. A case for the books he told me. But he knew exactly how to correct that and now my second hip also severely arthritic. He said he measured it 10 times just to make sure it was right. Now that's attention to detail! He really is among the premier physicians in the country. Excited for a new start on life!
He is a calm reassuring presence and projects someone who really wants to solve your issue. He was especially kind to me as he knew l was from a long term Medical type family and had expectations from that experience. My husband never charged medical people or their families. At the age of 81 all that has changed but kindness is not out of style with Dr. Davis. He and l enjoyed each other and my surgery was a jolly business. He knew l was counting the minutes till l could be discharged and made all that possible.
Excellent care and accomodation
Total Left Hip replacement. Excellent outcome and care under Dr Davis. Recommend him and his team and Intermountain health. He is an excellent surgeon and has great demeanor. This is my second hip replacement and it went 100 better than the last. Granted the approach for anterior direct has been slightly modified over the years (more lateral) which probably lead to the improved outcome.
