Pete Gutierrez and Kathy Scures-Gutierrez came to Sebastian in 1985 after graduating from dental school at Emory University. They have studied at the internationally renowned LD Pankey Institute and Dawson Center. They are both from Florida, Miami and Winter Park, respectively and were attracted to the small town appeal of Sebastian and the proximity to the ocean. Dr. Katherine Scures-Gurierrez is an outstanding dentist. She also takes time to clearly explain the need and treatment for procedures. Her staff is also excellent. I have been a patient for almost 20 years and I am grateful for her excellent care.
I am new to the area and was looking to get established with a good dental office. On my initial visit, I was extremely satisfied. the staff and Dr Peter Gutierrez were very personable and professional. In addition, he was very informative and made me very comfortable and pleased at the decision I made to choose his office.

I had a terrific experience at Dr. Gutierrez’s office. I was greeted warmly by Jen. The Janel brought me in on time. Janel was very sweet and comforting. The dental office always makes me nervous. Janel was very calming. Dr Scures was also very professional and calming. My treatment was explained in a very easy and understandable manner. I felt very comfortable the entire visit. I always get treated very well and they all are very friendly! They take wonderful care of my teeth and are great explaining things to me!! I would highly recommend them .
This was my first visit and all of the staff and Dr Gutierrez were amazing. I felt very personal care and concern. I required additional endodontic services and they went all out to get me in to see one the very next day. I look forward to being taken care of by their practice for years to come.
Having worked in dental offices earlier in my life, i was so happy to find this office. Every appointment has been a joy. This time, i had lost a permanent crown and needed it recented, if it was still usable. Dr. Peter checked it, xrayed the tooth, cleaned everything up, and cemented it back in place. It's a very old crown, but there was no pressure trying to convince me to get a new one made. I truly feel that everyone there works honestly, efficiently and professionally , but most of all ethically.
