I have had four spinal surgeries with Doctor Laurence McEntee of Gold Coast Spine. I have always felt safe under his care, He is professional, caring, has great bedside manner and is quietly spoken but unbelievably knowledgeable. I would recommend anyone who needs one of QLD’s best surgeons, and even Matthew Scott-Young whom Laurence trained under. Great staff, so very considerate and comforting when going through such a hard time.
Dr McENTEE carried out total disc replacement and fusion in my neck C4/5..C5/6, two years ago, at Pindara Private. The results have been EXCELLENT!! 85%+ more movement and probably 90% reduction in Pain! Still on meds and get headaches, but NOTHING Like before the surgery! Dr Mac... you’re a Legend! As were your team at Pindara, and your Staff at GC Spine, patient, understanding, efficient and Friendly! Thankyou So VERY Much!
Amazing surgeon, I was told years ago that I'd require back surgery, I was advised to hold off as long as possible try other alternatives in which I did ... I am now 6 months + post op of have L4 disc replacement L5s1 fusion. Not many can say they have their surgeons private mobile number.
You could not ask for a better surgeon. He has restored my hands and arm to working order. I literally woke up to neurological issues completely gone. Yes Gold Coast Spine as out of pocket costs but the level of service you receive from pre to post op is truly exceptional. Dr McEntee is on the younger side, but don’t let this put you off. Mcentee specialises in spinal surgery. He is fantastic at his craft. Lawrence has a calm, respectful and genuine manner. He is very knowledgeable and skilled and can communicate medical terminology and concepts in an understandable way without being condescending. He successfully completed a fusion and disc replacement in my lumber region, with fantastic results.
Dr McEntee is a incredible Spine specialist, I suffered a spinal injury 7 months ago and after seeing two other specialist beforehand who could not work out what was going on he found the injury in 5 mins and explained everything clearly. He is a honest and upfront doctor which is very hard to find in Queensland and really cares about his patients.
