Dr Gill was very patient and had compassion with my mother today. My mother is 90 years old. She told me what was needed done, and it would probably take another visit, I explained I probably wouldn't be able to get her back in, so she changed the plan and took care of everything in one visit. The front desk was very patient with me when I would book an appointment, and then I would have to cancel, because my mother wouldn't go. Thanks to all the staff. I'm not impressed with this dental office at all. They only hear what they want to hear. When I tried to tell them my implants r not right. They told me that's the way my mouth is. I'm a 65 yr old person and never had an overbite before. $13000 later out of my own pocket im left with teeth i dont like and not comfortable with. They make themselves sound so good. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Stoney Dental, Calgary, throughout my Invisalign journey. I started my treatment in 2023 with 37 trays to complete, but from the very beginning, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. When I first started wearing the aligners, the adjustments were extremely uncomfortable and caused painful scratches inside my mouth. my situation is not as common. First of all they are a good dentist. what is severing lacking is the information required afterwards. i moved to the USA from Alberta and needed the screw type for a crown Stoney Trail Dentist used on my implant. Stoney Trail Dentist could not provide me what the screw was on the crown they placed. the review is based on no communication and unwilling to send me the information i needed when living in another country
If I could provide a - 30 review I would. I went in for a simply consult to see the dentist for a Q&A session regarding possible dental implants. I was there early to fill out the 6 sides of the forms. Then I was eventually ushered into the examination room. The girl wanted to know why I was there. So; I told her. Then she asked me again? VERY poor service on the part of the Admin team. Due to COVID we were not allowed inside the business so we waited in the car. Despite numerous calls in to the receptionist with our full name and childs name, she continued to tell us it would be a longer wait. After 2 hours we were told she messed up and we couldnt be seen today. VERY unprofessional of an Admin assistant who said we didnt make our appointment even though we were in the parking lot and had phoned in. Not the best start to my appointment at 10:30 this morning. The staff were polite and understanding of my frustration . But It just seemed to me Communication between orthodontist and dentists are Lacking . After booking an appointment And then later on told that this is not gonna work for you ?? after months of planning I was in shock, just go home. It seems like my time &efforts didn’t really matter .
