Always a pleasure to see Dana for my twice-annual cleaning, and to rant—sometimes rave…looking at you, 2019!—about the Blues with her. It’s hard to imagine a more conscientious and caring dental hygienist than her…hence why I have taken care to see her each time possible for years now. Our shared passion for St. Louis hockey sure doesn’t hurt. Only good things to say about Dr. Raj, as well. Our visits are more brief but she never fails to ask about how and what I am doing these days, although it can be a little hard to answer while she’s checking for cavities! 😉 One memory with her always sticks out…after my braces were removed years and years ago, I had four cavities, one on each of my second molars, the outsides of which had been covered with “anchors” for my braces. Going in, I was fearful of pain, but I felt absolutely nothing—even without any injections of anesthetic. Her light & delicate touch, demonstrated that day, will keep me coming back to see her as long as I am in the area. Extra shout-out to Brit and Dr. Stutz for what was overall excellent care when it came to my wisdom teeth removal earlier this year. I was a bit unnerved when the day before my operation, I received a call that the specifics had changed, and only the top portion of my bottom third molars would be extracted due to the roots being ingrained in the nerve of my lower jaw. However, prior to my surgery, Dr. Stutz was kind enough to meet with me and explain the reasoning behind it, which eased my concern greatly. I’m grateful for his expertise and willingness to discuss it with me, and for my continued feeling/sensation in my lower jaw—which he explained could be affected if the nerve was damaged in trying to extract the full tooth. Thanks, Washington Smiles!!

Very friendly and caring staff. The staff that I have worked with did everything in their power to keep me comfortable and pain free with every visit and always made sure I was in agreement with their treatment plan for me. would highly recommend!
