I signed up with National Bankcard 3 weeks ago. I spoke to ****** who said I would get 1.9% rates and $5.00 a month fees with next day funding. Once I signed up it was the old bait and switch. Rates were good but they held the money for 3 days and said my business didnt qualify for next day funding. I had to wait 90 days and there underwriters would reevaluate. I only used it for a few months. I was told I was only going to be charged $5 per month. A month later they added fees including $145 per year and another $25 for something else, $3 for something else all these hidden, never spoken, never informed by correspondence added fees. Its a scam, and a nightmare. I tried closing the account and THEN they mention THE **** (without being clear about them) will have to be paid; all of them till ****. It’s a big fraud company. The sales people promise you something else and make you signup but later you see so many different charges in end of month on your account. Pathetic customer support. Have to call several times and no one will call you back
Worst card processor ever. Hidden fees will triple your cost to use their services. By the end of the month they will charge your account with a MONTH END CHARGES. It will be another 3% on top of the 1.95% per transaction. The representative responsible for my account never get back to me to explain these charges.
National Bankcard (incorporating *********** *** ******** ***) hit us with a chargeback of almost $600 simply because a customer claimed he didnt owe the money he had already charged. Yet he swiped his card on our National Bankcard machine. Then he won, we lost, and National Bankcard could care less. Hidden fraudulent fees for just APPROVAL of my account that was not set simply because I can not set it myself without a representatives' assistance - really?!.... Long story short, after phone conversation with one of their reps I found out I have to pay not just promised $5 monthly for my small business, but $12, like I said, because it was approved. Terrible experience. Hidden fees they DO NOT tell you about and service is horrible. If you call in for service, you will get passed along usually to someone who can BARELY speak English and then put on hold forever. Nobody seems to be able to help you so they "find someone that can", which means another 30 minutes on hold. I'm trying to cancel my account right now to stop the automatic hidden fees from DRAINING my bank account. I would NOT recommend National Bankcard to ANYONE.
They will get your money with a smile and then slam the door to your face if you have any problems. Do your research before going with them, we had so many issues.
