As a small buisness owner, I did research and found National Bankcard was slightly lower than others. I was told I would not be charged until we would take our first payment. Low and be hold, we were charged. Tried to get it resolved, said they fixed it. Again we charged. Tried to have it fixed once again and to no avail they lied and failed. I own a small business and when I saw an ad for this company via ******** I decided to find out more. In the minutes following after I filled out my information online the phone rang and it was an agent from National Bankcard (nevermind the message indicating that I would be contacted via e-mail or text though nevermind that), I proceeded to give further information about my business and myself but when she got to asking about my social security number I asked why she needed that information. I went with this company for my credit card customers because they had good reviews and the sales rep promised me everything I wanted to hear. I was told my funds would be in my account within 48 hours and it's been two weeks and my account is still on hold. I have been dealing with 5 different people at the company and non of them have been able to help me. I have sent numerous emails and have left several voicemails all for them to go unacknowledged. I signed on with National Bankcard on February *, 2017. On February **** I processed my first two transactions totaling over $6,300.00 from the same customer. Within a few days I was informed they needed a copy of the invoice I charged my customer with, I immediately sent the invoice to them. I opened an account for CC processing 2 weeks ago with National Bankcard and they are the worst Bank to deal with , first I'm been over charged , getting charge back from my account and its been 3 days of calling the bank customer service all i got is the running around they put me on hold for over 30 minutes each time i called or they give me another number to call and when i do call the number i get a message the office is closed and today i called to get answer for my question it got worst the hanged up on me twice , i th... read more

We overnighted the merchant a check for $47.00, changed their rate structure to be more efficient for their business type, and told the merchant that we will call him on February *** to check to make sure he is happy with the new rate type and if he is not happy we will send him a full refund check and allow him to close his account at no cost.

This company National Bank Card is a horrible company to do business with. They will lie about their rates, processing, deposits, and service. They will hold funds for weeks and not refund your customers either. They have a huge negative review and actually hire people to post positive reviews. Phil H***** also lied about them not using 3rd parties to process their cards and then they will sell your information.

We spoke with the merchant and requested to have their funds released. The funds have been released. We apologize to this merchant for their experience. The merchant ran sales that were collectively higher than the amount they were approved to process. Had the communication between agent and merchant been better from the beginning we may have been able to avoid this outcome. What this company is doing is borderline illegal. They have held up mine and several of our customer's money now for 2 weeks not only does this hurt my business financially, but I also have had customers threatening me because I can not ship and National Bank Card refuses to release their money. My next steps are to file with the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General and seek legal advice. Think twice before using National Bank Card. I purchased a credit card terminal from their website without an account. Unfortunately my bank no longer accepts the specific brand and asked for a refund. I spoke to three different representatives who all told me they don't sell terminals online, only through representatives on the phone. I called about 10 times and was hung up on about 5 times. I recently signed up with National Bankcard to have this company handle my credit card processing for my business. While speaking with their sales person she explained the fees involved for them to process the credit cards I accept for my services. The per charge processing fee was low compared to others that I had looked at. I previously had an account with Square and their fees were significantly higher (percentage of charge) than what National Bankcard was charging.
