DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. We (a local auto repair shop) used Car Computer Exchange because they were a local company and had an amazing website... that is where the positivity ended. After paying $400 for a repaired computer, and $100 to get keys programmed, we found that the repaired computer had a new problem it did not previously have. Computer failed with internal fault code p0601 3 days after warranty. From day it was ordered not shipped. Called and was basical told to kick rocks.
Give a 1000 dollars for a computer it didn't last 500 miles they sent me second one it didn't last 3000 mile said it's out of warranty said I was sol they got there last money they will ever get from me
Do not use. Fake reviews on here and google. Ordered a PCM on Apr. 3 they said it would be 3 days max, called a week later and they don't have the part. called multiple times a week after that still don't have the part, tried to get a refund but they'll either put me on hold for 30 plus minutes or just hang up. Contacted my credit card company to process a chargeback. Very shady company, use at your own risk.
Car Computer Exchange appears to have communication issues internally and with the customer. Computer was returned in self address label box the second day after receiving the rebuilt one. Still have issues with the truck and when ask for warranty, they claim they never received the core in return and will charge me the core and not honor the warranty. Since I paid with PayPal, I am submitting a dispute with them. Avoid at all costs.
Placed an order for a computer for a 2011 ford edge on March 9th and still haven't received it. Have been lied to on 4 different occasions twice by customer service and twice by the supervisor Brian. When I first placed the order, it was easy to get someone on the line to check on the status now when I call, I get hung up on at least 3 times per call and when they pick up they usually just put me on hold without saying a word where I wait for at least 15 minutes for someone to come on the line and give me some nonsense excus... read more
I don't normally leave a review but please be aware of this place. We ordered a computer on a Tuesday (4/3) night. We knew that the order wouldn't process till the next day. I called on Wednesday to confirm they received the order and also to verify what part number they were asking for. The lady I spoke with that day seemed to be very nice and confirmed that the part was in stock & would be completed on Friday. They were to call me when it was complete. This is a big rip off!! Ordered a truck computer from Computer exchange $218.95. The computer did not work. We sent it back and got 98.95 back. Their add states if the computer does not work you get a complete refund, now they tell us we are being charged a service fee plus programing free. It did not work so why are we being charged to program it. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!
